1. About Telur Dadar ( Omelette )
Telur Dadar (Omelette) is a food made from eggs. Commonly used eggs are chicken eggs or duck eggs. Besides eggs are also added red chili, spring onion, onion, garlic, pepper powder, and lime leaves. This food is commonly made by the community. Almost every region in Indonesia has known Telur Dadar. These foods are usually eaten with rice and vegetables. 2.The ingredients used in cooking a Telur Dadar (Omelette)
4 chicken eggs, 2 leeks, 3 pieces of red onion, 4 red chilies, 3 cloves of garlic, ½ teaspoon pepper powder, ½ teaspoon of fine salt, 3 lime leaves, ½ sheets of turmeric leaves, and salt to taste.
Step to make Telur Dadar: Clean the leek, cut into thin, put into a bowl. Clean onion, thinly sliced. Clean Garlic, thinly sliced. Clean the lime leaves, thinly sliced. Clean the leaves of turmeric, thinly sliced. Combine onion, garlic, lime leaves and turmeric leaves that have been sliced into the bowl above. Add pepper powder. Add salt to taste. Stir until blended. Add the eggs, stir until blended. Prepare the skillet, add cooking oil. Heat the cooking oil until it is completely hot. When it’s hot, put the egg mixture. Leave the underside of the yellowish brown marks ripe. Turn the eggs so that the top will be appreciated by the hot cooking oil. When it is brownish yellow, it means delicious and nutritious a Telur Dadar is ready to serve.
How to serve Telur Dadar: Serve the Telur Dadar in a dish. Cut to taste. Serve with rice, vegetables, and other side dishes.
