How To Make Jengkol Rendang Delicious and Nutritious

1. About Jengkol Rendang

Jengkol Rendang is a dish made from Jengkol. Jengkol (Archidendron pauciflorum, synonym: A. jiringa, Pithecellobium jiringa, and P. lobatum) are distinctive plants in the Southeast Asian region. The West calls it a dog fruit. Its seeds are popular in Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Indonesia know it as food.  This food is the original food from Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia.

2. The ingredients used in cooking  Jengkol Rendang
  1. 1 kg of fresh Jengkol.
  2. 200 grams red chili.
  3. 50 grams red cayenne pepper.
  4. 3 centimeters Turmeric. centimeters Ginger.
  5. 4 centimeters galangal.
  6. 10 pieces of red onion.
  7.  10 cloves of garlic.
  8. 2 pieces of turmeric leaves.
  9. 5 lime leaves.
  10. 2 stalks of lemongrass, 1 seed of the nutmeg, 1 tablespoon coriander, 1 teaspoon of pepper.   1 coconut, take the coconut milk. The salt according to taste. Sufficient water.
 3. Step to make Jengkol Rendang

Clean Jengkol and boil until cooked. Blend the red pepper, red cayenne pepper, turmeric, ginger, galangal, red onion, garlic, nutmeg, pepper, and coriander. Prepare a clean skillet, input Jengkol earlier into it.
